christmas love from london.

It's felt like Christmas in London for weeks now, decorations started appearing in early October...thanks Tesco's.
One of my Christmas wishes is most likely not going to come true, but instead of snow we are meant to have blazing sunshine and temperatures this week are up up up so I can't complain at all!
I also wish I could have all my favourite people in one place today, however the day is going to be amazing with Christmas treats (good food & lots of pressies) in the morning and an afternoon spent with close friends, I've been excited all week.

xx Merry Christmas xx

here are a few snaps of Christmas around London

a cool guy with a good aim not only won me this giant Rudolph (named Rudee) but also the little Santa hanging out at the bottom of the chimney, lucky girl I am

brick lane.

For the months of October and November, Brick Lane was a frequent hang out. Staying in a cute little place (thanks Phil & Ella) just off the lane itself meant having to walking through daily to get to Liverpool St station. Brick Lane is the 'Bangalatown' of London with curry houses aplenty, rich in art & culture, amazing Sunday markets and probably the biggest vintage treasure trove of London

neighbourhood :: canonbury

last sunday, the air was crisp and the sun was shining.
i got out of bed and took a wander through my new neighbourhood in an attempt to snap some shots to document just how pretty Canonbury is!
the photos don't do it justice, you'll all just have to come and visit...soon.

instagrams from the week past.

moving day.

how slack have I been at this for the past few weeks?
things have been a bit crazy over here with temping, job hunting, flat hunting and most recently, flatmate hunting.
tomorrow is moving day and we are moving into an absolutely charming little neighbourhood, we are located in the middle of a couple of areas: Islington, Canonbury and not far from Angel.
after struggling to find a room in a sharehouse we took the risk of getting our own place and filling to second room. round one of flatmate viewings proved to be unsuccessful but after round two we have found a lovely Australian girl...only problem is she can't move in until the 22nd of December so we're stuck with a non-english speaking Italian until then....

things i'm looking forward to most:
*unpacking my suitcase and hanging my clothes after three and a half months
*having places to put my things
*getting a slow cooker
*going home to a place that is my own
*a big kitchen
*a room where you can close the door
*a real bed
*Christmas decorating...
*getting creative in the kichen again, I feel like I've forgotten how to cook properly...
*walking around the neighbourhood
*going to the local pub - it's amazing.
*dinner parties
*an excuse to go to IKEA
